We await our final days of school like a caged bird waits to make it's escape
counting the days, the weeks, the months,
the hours, the minutes, the seconds
the bird watches for it's chance
and when it comes the time to fly the bird takes it.

thats a really good simile. it so sums up how we're all feeling as the year comes to a close. when june 18 comes it will be just like that bird that gets free.
