10 Things I Know About The Taming of the Shrew

Unfortunately I was unable to watch 1o things i hate about you I was to busy making my own movie. So since I didn't watch it I can't really make a list of ten parallels to The Taming of the Shrew. And further more I stopped caring a week ago.

O Brother, Where Art Thou?

Oh that's tough I liked the movie as a whole. In particular I liked when Everett and the the gang met up with the guy that robbed banks. I can't seem to rember a name but he was just a likable character in my book. Loved how he was trying to set a record for number of banks robbed a certain amount of time.

Free as a bird

We await our final days of school like a caged bird waits to make it's escape
counting the days, the weeks, the months,
the hours, the minutes, the seconds
the bird watches for it's chance
and when it comes the time to fly the bird takes it.

Project Checkpoint

Well I've made some progress as far as research not much though. A thing I'm kind of concerned about is what info you want me to in clued. I mean I'm not exactly sure what from the 1933 world fair you would want in my power point or what that even has to with Of Mice and Men.

Beyond that the only problems i see are my lack of motivation. Or how dates always seem to catch up with me take this blog for instance. But other than that no problems none at all.

Monty Python And The Holy Grail- The Black Knight

I found this video on youtube just searching for it. Anyway the fighting reminds me of how they might have fought in the 16th century. I'm also pretty sure the line "'tis but a scratch" and "it's merely a flesh wound" are reference to Mercutio said when mortally wounded. Sorry it's late I felt terrible yesterday and still do.

Romeo and Juliet Photo Post

I chose this image because it reminds me of the balcony in act.2 sc.2. I think it look a lot more like it would have not like in the movies. I honestly didn't like how long the balconys were in the older one and the newer one didn't have much of a balcony scene. Anyway here's the link http://pro.corbis.com/images/AT001853.jpg?size=67&uid={F0CF2C26-B2DD-40E9-BDD8-679740765EA5}.

Romeo and Juliet: Act Two

Some thing I found interesting. Okay when Mercutio was telling jokes about Romeo and Rosaline and Benvolio was being all practical. I personal found this rather funny they didn't really seem like they'd get along with out Romeo. I think that they'll be going on like that though the in tire play and are there mainly for comic relief.

I'm not sure what I'd do I there position I'm generally pretty practical. But if I was coming form a party I'd probably be joking around. Can't say I've been in a similar situation. I mean I haven't really been to that many parties and sure haven't had friends sneak of to see girls they had fallen in love with that night.

Characters in Romeo and Juliet

The charter I'm going to write about is Benvolio. He is in the broadest seance of the term a peace keeper and always tries to give Romeo good advice. I'm not sure what he would look life. I mean Shakespeare had a reason for not describing the people in his plays to let the actors do that for you right.

Anyway I think that my dad fits Benvolio's personalty pretty well. He's always trying to keep the peace in our house most of the time as about as effective at it as Benvolio was. He also tries to give my siblings and I good advice when he can. "If you want to be a hero well just follow me" John Lennon.

Romeo and Juliet: Premonitions

To easy in fact I'll do one better. Over summer break I went to a over night summer camp in Idaho theme park called Sliverwood. Anyway on the second night we were there at camp and I say for no particular reason can you feel the tension in the room. Of course there's no tension. Later on that night someone pours spaghetti all over someone else's back and sorts of other things like that.

To me this is hilariously funny but not to all the consular's not so much. The best part you could feel the tension in the room. I don't really think there's much I could do to prevent it though. "blood is the rose of a mysterious union" the Door's.

Shakespearean Stories

Ok fine the movie is ghost town. I suppose it the most recent movie I've seen with a love triangle in it. I'm not going to bother with plot summery but yeah. The creators were mildly in flounced it always had a love triangle or...square.

God research you realize Shakespeare had like 38 plays right and you want me to do research. Fine judging by how it all worked out a Midsummer night's dream. With almost as happy an ending. it's over it's done it's Sunday night ha posted Saturday check and mate.

Anticipating Shakespeare

I'm in all honesty not able to understand what's being said that easily. It sound like there speaking in a foreign language. Maybe a language were I could understand most of the words but still. The sentence structure is almost impossible to understand.

My feelings on Romeo and Juliet...huh...I don't know really. I can't say I'm looking forward to it but hay I know it'll be a learning experience (he said with a smile that didn't reach the eye's). I don't really the story behind the basic that it was a tragic story of romance. Oh darn I completely forgot about this on friday it was the 13th after all supposed to be unlucky or something.

The Worst Part of Animal Farm

The worst or saddest part of animal farm is a bit hard to say. It would be a three way tie I think between Snowball being run out, Boxer and his end, the seven commandments. Snowball's story sure is a sad one him working so hard for the farm only to be run out and blamed for bad things happening. Boxer worked possibly the hardest for Animal farm and what did get for death in the end.

The seven commandments at first were at first thought up by what Old Major said. I think a major turning point was reach when the rule about killing was changed then they were no better than humans in my mind. In the end the last change I think is the saddest "All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others" that's pretty much the same as saying all animals aren't equal. Would you believe I wrote this entire thing while listening to Across the Universe "nothin's gonna change my world.....nothin's gonna change my world......"

Freewrite/Insight: Animal Farm

Well I don't really like animal farm that much so not much to say about it. But it does give some in sight as to what some body is willing to do to stay in power. Weather it was running Snowball off the farm or blaming him for crimes he didn't commit. Or even braking what I consider one the the most important rule never kill another animal.

I also sort of like Boxer as a charter he also makes sad. His first motto is "I will work harder" this is good in the beginning he is a true believe in animal farm. He listen to and believes the pigs but this is also his undoing he believes there lies and continues to work harder. I believe Communism is good when it works trouble is it never has there's always been some greedy son of a-
